10,018 PointsMy date is returning in the correct format, but I can't pass this code quiz. Is there another way?
It seems to appear correctly.
<?php
echo 'Today is '
//Place your code below this comment
;
echo date('F d\, Y');
?>

Treehouse TeacherHi there! Yes, this does appear correctly. However, the challenge seems to be checking the string that you send into the date function as opposed to the output. You've put a \
before the comma, but commas don't need to be escaped and it's resulting the challenge seeing a string it shouldn't.
Simply removing the backslash causes this to pass the challenge.
Hope this helps!
