Treehouse TeacherBrandon McLaughlin is correct. You must format it using the variable name instead of the string literal. But even if we change that part, the challenge still fails. Challenges are extremely picky. You also have incorrect capitalization in your string. The letter "t" in should be uppercase. Take a look:
name = "nicolas"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)
