HTML How to Make a Website Adding Pages to a Website Add a New Page

My about.html and contact.html pages are staying the same as index.html page even though I changed the code. Thank you.

I am unable to see the changes when I update the contact.html and about.html pages, they are staying the exact same as index.html as if I never updated the code.

Have you allocated the file paths correctly, to link to the pages you have changed. You may still have index.html instead of contact and about.html. Its easily done, hope this helps.

Example:

<ul>
  <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
</ul>

Thank you, I just deleted the index.html, about.html and contact.html and recreated new files and they worked perfectly. :)

Ah great, glad you managed to sort it. Whenever something goes wrong, check your spelling, punctuation and general syntax, once you have deduced that these are not the issue then you can start looking for a solution else where but most of the time it is all down to little errors that go unnoticed. :)

I'm having the same issue even though I feel like I've allocated the files correctly as seen below. The about page does in fact show that the "About" is selected. So I'm not sure why the images from the index page are still showing up.

  <nav>
    <ul>
      <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
      <li><a href="about.html" class="selected">About</a></li>
      <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
    </ul>
  </nav>
