So as the question asks , I tried to multiply the number string with another number , but code still not passing
class NumString:
def __init__(self, value):
self.value = str(value)
def __str__(self):
return self.value
def __int__(self):
return int(self.value)
def __float__(self):
return float(self.value)
def __add__(self, other):
if '.' in self.value:
return float(self) + other
return int(self) + other
def __radd__(self, other):
return self + other
def __iadd__(self, other):
self.value = self + other
return self.value
def __mul__(self, other):
self.value = str(value) * other
return self.value
def __rmul__(self, other):

231,236 PointsSince you want to do math, you won't be converting anything to a string ("str()
"). You'll want to go the other way. And you won't need to directly reference "self.value" for the first task.
The challenge has given you a great model to follow in the form of "__add__
" and "__radd__
". The functions you need to make will be almost identical except for a different math operator to multiply instead of add.
