Move WordPress website from public to local computer without ServerPress Premium membership for $99.99

I installed a WordPress system on my local computer using ServerPress. I would like to import my public WordPress site to my local computer. How can this be done without Premium membership?

Hi Jurgen,

I'm not really sure of what your trying to accomplish, but what I understand is that you actually have a www.wordpress.com website and what to move it to a local server in a way that you can develop your own theme or at least customise it.

As Wordpress.com is a proprietary solution, it's not possible to really move your site but you can still export the data and reimport it in you local wordpress install.

To do so, simply follow this tutorial: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-properly-move-your-blog-from-wordpress-com-to-wordpress-org/.

I'm not sure what is the Premium membership of ServerPress, but you really don't need that to move a wordpress site.
