Margin not working for images ?

In my code I did try to use margin-bottom inside arrow class but it is not working similarly iI tried to style img tag with margin top and bottom it does not show any effect and i did remove margin-bottom from img tag again it doesn't effect any thing? Any help will be apprciated ?

<img> elements are inline elements like text, which don't accept top or bottom margins.

Add the following declaration to your img CSS rule to make top and bottom margins work on your img element

Maybe set up a CodePen so we can have a better look at the structure, unfortunately this comment feed isn't the best sometimes for debugging things :-)

Hi Riksha Karma,

Remember in CSS specificity is important. You have a couple of images in your example and if you want to affect all image use the image. If you want a specific image to make, you're using its parent container. Example in your CSS ".tips img {border: 1px solid red}. " Margins only affect block level elements. You can get a better handle on your CSS with developer tools. Hope this helps.
