The problem is your CSS, you place the comma in the second argument and you have to place the comma like this:

.main-header{
  background-image: linear-gradient(steelblue, darkslateblue);
}

It looks like the class in the HTML is "main-heading" and your CSS is targeting ".main-header".

Have you tried just changing the -er to -ing?

He's targeting the header id="top" class="main-header" because he needs to give to the header tag a background with linear gradient
