14,347 PointsHey Ali,
You just need to correct these lines and you'll be able to complete the challenge:
Change public String KEY_USERENTRY = "KEY_USERENTRY"; to public static final String KEY_USERENTRY = "KEY_USERENTRY";
You don't really need these ones ([public String mString ;] , [mString = "oli";] and [mTextView.setText(mString)])
Change this line outState.putString(KEY_USERENTRY, mTextView.getText().toString()); so that it becomes:
@Override
protected void onSaveInstanceState(Bundle outState) {
super.onSaveInstanceState(outState);
outState.putString(KEY_USERENTRY, 10);
}
Ultimately change mString = savedInstanceState.getString(KEY_USERENTRY); to have something like this:
@Override
protected void onRestoreInstanceState(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onRestoreInstanceState(savedInstanceState);
mTextView.setText(savedInstanceState.getInt(KEY_USERENTRY) + " ");
}
Happy coding
