You have the main tags working great! I think there is a hiccup with the quiz because it should have marked your code incorrect. The challenge asks to add <aside> tags between the social media h3 tag and the ul tag. If you remove your <aside> tags and put them like so:

<aside>
    <h3>Follow Me on Social Media:</h3>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="#">Twitter</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Facebook</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">LinkedIn</a></li>
    </ul>
</aside>

You should be in the clear

Hi Clinton Vaught , as it shows in your code your main tag is indeed at the right place however I wouldn't place the aside tag on the header..it should be before the last h3 elements and after the ul. Hope this helps :)
