Learn ios dev with a macbook?

Hello. I have a macbook pro, but I dont have an ipad or an iphone. Is it enough for learning ios development? Thanks.

I would say that you eventually are going to need an iPhone or iPad since there are things that you can’t test in the simulator, like apps that use the camera for instance. Hope this helps

It isn't required to have an iPad/iPhone to learn iOS, you can just use the emulator to see your app in action. But at some point it may be a good idea to get an iPad/iPhone. (The emulator isn't 100% accurate always.)

Whaaat! You gotta trade in your Android for an iPhone if your gonna be a iOS Dev:) Certain things like push notifications etc you need an actual device to fully test but otherwise you will be fine learning with the simulator. Even when developing you will use an emulator a lot of the time especially when testing layout on different screen sizes. Not sure where you live but keep in mind you can get some cheap iPhones/iPads on apps/sites like Offerup or Craigslist.
