Android Build a Weather App (2015) Building the Weather UI Using layout_weight

layout_weight property not allowing me to pass

I've seen several other questions related to this exercise, but none of them seem to have an answer that helps. The instructions say, "using ONLY the layout_weight property, make two new TextViews take up the same amount of space in the LinearLayout."

I've done that, based on what I saw in the video and what works for me in the Studio, but it keeps telling me it's wrong. What am I doing wrong here?

<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="match_parent"
    android:background="@android:color/white" >

    <TextView
        android:id="@+id/movieTitle"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:textSize="32sp"
        android:text=""
        android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
        android:layout_centerVertical="true" />

    <ImageView
        android:id="@+id/movieImage"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_above="@id/movieTitle" />

    <LinearLayout
        android:orientation="horizontal"
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:layout_below="@id/movieTitle"
        android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
        android:id="@+id/linearLayout">

        <TextView
            android:layout_width="match_parent"
            android:layout_height="wrap_content"
            android:layout_weight=1
            android:text=""
            android:id="@+id/textView"/>

        <TextView
            android:layout_width="match_parent"
            android:layout_height="wrap_content"
            android:layout_weight=1
            android:text=""
            android:id="@+id/textView2"/>

    </LinearLayout>

</RelativeLayout>

Remember the ". It should say ="1" instead of =1.

Like so:

android:layout_weight="1"

Thank you! I could swear I tried that and it didn't work, but I just tried again and it did.
