I restarted the question multiple times and tried the second question every possible way.

Treehouse TeacherHi there! Task one asks you to add one set of <script>
tags. Task 2 asks you to place something in those script tags. But you have added an additional set of script tags that contain a link to an external javascript file which may or may not exist. There are no instructions that ask you to link to an external file. So you need to remove this line:
<script src="scripts.js"></script>
When I remove that line, your code passes. Hope this helps!
