Whay Gail doesn't bind the newGuestSubmitHandler handler to button or input, instead he binds it to the form it self?

27,272 PointsOn submit is, as far as I know, a form only event. Binding the event to the form submission will also let you do things like hit enter, instead of exclusively hitting the "Submit" button.

Even if you did bind the event to the button, something still needs to disable the form submission event from reloading the page.
