4,691 PointsJoy Kersten is speaking of the "next course" at the end of "Treehouse Club: HTML" but what exactly IS the next course?
She explicitly mentions "images in HTML" and "a lot more about CSS" in the "next course" but It's not clear to me what course exactly she's referring to.

Courses Plus Student 18,830 PointsThe next course she is referring to is Treehouse Club: CSS found here http://teamtreehouse.com/library/treehouse-club-css .
You can find all the courses in the track she teaches here http://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/digital-literacy

1,022 PointsThis is a very valid - and extremely important - point! I am having precisely the same issue: I started with TeamTreeHouse, was suitably impressed and signed-up for a year's student subscription (I'm 57!). I now log in to TeamTreeHouse from several devices and it seems to be a bit 'hit-and-miss' as to which 'track' the website directs me to! Like most novices (I imagine), I want to be able to follow a track, or a course, or simply a series of lessons in a simple, straightforward, logical manner. There's simply SO MUCH material to learn in this field, anyway, without the added confusion of being almost obliged to 'jump around' between topics. At the moment, this is the biggest downside of TeamTreeHouse and one that I hope they will work on!

Courses Plus Student 18,830 PointsWelcome to Treehouse Julian! :) I can definitely understand your confusion, and I think this is something Treehouse is working on or at least thinking about, especially since it's been mentioned in the forum a few times now. Tracks and Courses are being constantly updated and moved around though, similar to how the industry changes and moves. While this can be confusing at times, I do think it's beneficial because it makes us students be more adaptable and better prepared for handling industry changes.
Based off your points it looks like you are starting off with Digital Literacy track, or you're at least doing some of the Digital Literacy courses. You can view all the tracks here. I definitely recommend picking one and sticking to it till it's completed. Your Treehouse homepage should help you stick with that track by showing what track your own, where you are on it, and steps they recommend you complete next. If you are on a track and the recommended steps are not consistent across multiple devices you may want to report it to Support.
I do agree too that there is an abundance of material to learn in this field, especially when you're new and starting out. It was very overwhelming for me at first, and still is sometimes. I think once you pick a track and stick with it you'll understand more so what other courses you should try that are in the Library.
I still think it would be beneficial for Treehouse to include on a course's overview page, whether or not that course belongs to a certain Track as well. In the mean time, if you're ever unsure where to find something and what course or Track to do next, always feel free to reach out to the Treehouse community here in the forum. :)

4,691 PointsThanks Kristopher! That must be the right one.
But how can I see to which track a certain course belongs? I mean: you pointed it out to me but I started with Treehouse Club: HTML and nowhere in that course itself I could find the track it belongs to and nowhere I could find a button or indication to what the next course was.

Courses Plus Student 18,830 PointsNo problem Marcel! :) And that is a great question! I actually don't think there is a way, at this moment, to see what track a particular course belongs to. That would be a great thing to have though, especially if you did start a course from the Library, and not from the track itself.

1,022 PointsMany thanks, Kristopher! Yes, I'd more or less come to that conclusion after posting my mini-rant! I've subsequently figured out a bit more how Treehouse works, and I completely agree with your sentiment about remaining flexible/adaptable whilst working along a track. So, I'm still following the Digital Literacy Track (albeit slowly!), whilst endeavouring to pick up HTML and CSS along the way. Your helpful advice is well-received - thanks again!

811 PointsI agree; thought that I was the only one with the same question. Seems like we jumped right into html without some "grounding" about html structure overview. Luckily the coding challenge was simple enough that you can figure it out by looking at the code sample.
