I cant answer this- Challenge Task 1 of 2
Use the JavaScript .toUpperCase( ) string method to assign an all uppercase version of the id variable to the userName variable.
any help is appritiated.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 33,271 Pointsyou are declaring it twice and the first one doesn't have a semicolon at the end. you are also not upping what it asks you to upper. you can declare and initialize in one statement if you want like var myVar = myValue, or you can declare at one point and init later, like var myVar; then on another line, myVar = myValue;
