you don't need to initialize secret as the prompt, the prompt is already in the loop. you can just declare secret. then in the loop, set secret to the prompt and add a conditional statement that checks if secret equals the password. if so, break.

Hello Lucky La Torre,
As James explains declare the secret variable inside the loop

do {
  var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
} while (secret !== "sesame" )
  document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

This works :)

var secret;

do {
  secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
} while ( secret !== "sesame")
  document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");
