Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java Strings and Variables

javac : file not found

everytime i press enter after typing down javac introductions.java , ana error pops below which states - javac : file not found. So am i getting anything done wrong cause i seem to be following the turtorial correctly

I think you should make sure that introductions.java is actually in the directory you're currently at AND you didn't mistype its file name, because that javac error "file not found" really means what it means - javac can't locate the file at the current directory.

Try use ls command see if it lists out files included introductions.java.
