Java Code Challenge Problem

I cant identify my error. I want to make an if statement saying that if firstExample = secondExample will print text "first is equal to second". Help!!

if (String firstExample = String secondExample) { console.printf("first is equal to second"); System.exit(0); }

Equality.java

if(firstExample.equals(secondExample)) {
  console.printf("first is equal to second");
}

I believe this should work for you.
