2,812 Points@Jamie, this project needs to update the gradle version/wrapper(in teacher's note or wherever : -) )
In 2017, I run this project and Android Studio let me know the error about gradle version is too old, 1.5.0.
I updated gradle version as 2.2.0 and it changed distributionUrl=https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-2.14.1-all.zip in gradle.wrapper automatically, and it works fine :-)
