769 PointsI've edited a post on my fledgling site, but now I can't find it. I used WebMatrix to install my WP.
IS using Web matrix too complicated for a novice?

17,372 PointsIt is difficult to say without more information... However, if you edited the post in the wp-admin section of your site, you should be able to view the post from the editor page. (Look for the link that says "view this post")
I'm guessing that you edited the post and expected it to automatically show up on your site. This will not be the case. Depending on the settings for your wordpress site, the url may be something like this: www.somewordpresssite.com/post/1
Without more information, I can't give you a solid answer though...
As for the Web Matrix portion of your question, it is a method of easily installing wordpress on your server. If you did this on your home computer without setting up a webserver, then you also would not be able to view the site.
