You'll want to change your condition to check to see if it is Friday since the message you want to print out is "It's Friday but I don't have enough money to go out." For that to be a true statement, today will have to equal Friday.
else if (today === 'Friday') {
alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
}
