Between media and parenthesis leave space and for properties you should write every property on a new line. I don't know if you get me clear, i'm new in this as well I just finished css basics. Your code should look like this:

@media (max-width: 1020px) {
  .main-header {
  background-color: tomato; 
  color: white;
  }
}

@media (max-width: 768px) {
.title {
    font-size: 1.4em;
}
h1 {
  font-size: 5rem;
    }
}

h1 is a new element, that means you have to close curly braces after 'font-size:1.4em;', like this:

@media (max-width:768px) {
  .title {
    font-size:1.4em;
}
h1 {
  font-size: 5rem;
    }

Hi, it looks like you're missing one closing '}' at the end
