the question was:Initialize the showFactButton variable using the findViewById() method like the TextView above it. The ID for the button is showFactButton, and don't forget to cast it to a Button with (Button)!
and it shows a error massage: Bummer! There is a compiler error. Please click on preview to view your syntax errors!
import android.app.Activity;
import android.os.Bundle;

import android.widget.TextView;
public class FunFactsActivity extends Activity {
@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_fun_facts);
// Declare our View variables and assign them the Views from the layout file
TextView factLabel = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.factTextView);
ShowFactButton = (Button) findViewById(R.id.showFactButton);
}
}

6,918 PointsHi Jude! I see you made a tiny error. You are missing the Button variable type at the beginning of your ShowFactButton declaration.
