12,444 PointsHi. In this piece of your code:
@media(max-width:768px) {
.title {
(font-size:1.4em;)
{h1 (font-size:5rem;)
}
you forgot the end curly braces for the media query and the set of curly braces for your h1
element. Furthermore, you wrapped the font-size and the rule for the h1
in parentheses. This is not necessary. You should treat everything inside a media query like a regular CSS rule, because it is a regular CSS rule. This means you should declare them like the following:
@media (max-width: 768px) {
.class {
// Stuff goes here
}
h1 {
// Stuff goes here
}
}
Do you see how the media query just wraps the rules, but the rules are pretty much the same compared to when the media query is not there? Try to rewrite that part of your code like normal, and see if you can figure it out, because it looks like you were on the right path.
Solution
In the event you could not figure it out, here is the solution:
@media (max-width: 1020px) {
.main-header {
background-color: tomato;
color: white;
}
}
@media (max-width: 768px) {
.title {
font-size: 1.4rem;
}
h1 {
font-size: 5rem;
}
}
