Apparently, I have assigned the function operation to a constant named 'result', but it still gives me that error. Please help. Thanks in advance, regards, Soma

28,558 PointsThe error message is misleading, you are indeed correctly assigning the result. The issue is that you are using wrong labels when calling the function. a and b are the internal label of the parameters, value and divisor are the external labels.
When calling a function you have to use the external labels. Like this:
func getRemainder(value a: Int, divisor b: Int) -> Int {
return a % b
}
let result = getRemainder(value: 10, divisor:3) // Switched internal label to external ones
