JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Creating Reusable Code with Functions Passing an Argument to a Function

It doesn't look like i am storing the returned value in the `echo` variable.

I need help with this code. how do i store the returned value in the variable? Thanks

You created your variable inside the function, and assigned it the value passed to the function.

But for the challenge, you need to create your variable outside of the function, and then assign it the value returned by the function.
