4,398 PointsIsn't my workspace supposed to update with the content of the workspace used in the video?
Previously my workspace was updating with the code in the workspace in the video in order to follow along with the video and practice the actual process of programing. My workspace defaults only to the one line of code from the first video in the Ruby Basics lesson.

Treehouse TeacherZak Sai'd some videos will prompt you to launch a new workspace, if they introduce major changes that aren't all shown in the video. But workspaces are just meant to give you starter code so you can follow along with the videos. We strongly encourage you to type along with the video tutorials. Not only does it build muscle memory, but it gives you a chance to experiment with changes of your own!

4,254 PointsMy guess is that you may not have closed your current workspace. Close the workspace. Then in the course, there should be a "Launch in Workspaces" button.
Either that or the course may not have a specified workspace.

478 PointsThe intro video that describes a future projects has an incomplete chain of if statements and is not meant to be run in a workspace. I suggest Team Treehouse remove the Launch Workspace button, or simple state that.
