Is there a proper way to disconnect the device? Or can I just unplug it after the app has been loaded onto it?

56,413 PointsYou will disconnect the device from the device monitor/debugger in Android Studio, so you won't see log messages or use breakpoints, etc. Other than that, it's perfectly safe to unplug after the app is loaded in.
