504 PointsIs there a limit on how many times we can use "else" & "if"? If not why would we even need to use "elseif"
If there is no limit on how many times we can use "else" and "if" I cannot see a circumstance when we would need "elseif"

231,248 PointsAn "if" can have only one "else". But you can have any number of "elseif" statements between them, and all share the same nesting (indentation) level.
If you chain "else" and "if" you keep increasing the nesting level, and therefore the indentation, which could make the code hard to read and maintain.
