Courses Plus Student 4,961 PointsIs the standard variable name for an inner loop *not* "j"?
In a 2-level nested loop, the standard variable name is "i" and the inner loop is "j" as far as I understand, but the exercise's question comes back saying "j" is incorrect...Am I missing something?

231,271 PointsYou are correct, but the challenge scoring may have confused you. I tried a little experiment and found that it can sometimes mark all the blanks wrong even if you only have mistakenly placed some of them.
But once you have them all correct you will get a successful result.
