8,966 PointsIs it okay to start applying for jobs once I complete a track?
For example, I'm on the "Front End Web Development" track that I hope to complete in eight months and eight weeks. Would that be enough to apply to entry level jobs in the field?
If that track isn't enough, what other tracks or courses do I need to complete to apply for jobs?
I already completed the "Learn Wordpress" track but I supposed that isn't enough to apply for jobs without additional skill.

14,584 PointsMake sure you spend like 200%+ of time watching videos actually coding your own websites. Im on that track too and i think its a good place to start but we really gotta put in the time messing around on our own mini projects

1,988 PointsTo answer your question immediately, yes, that would be great if you feel you have the necessary skills already! You should try meeting with people who work in the field you want to go into. Show them some of the work you've done and additionally ask if there are any specific skill-sets that you would need to begin working. This should give you a good idea of where you stand in your own skills relative to those who are already working in your field, and also allows you to network and let other's know you're looking for work. 30,241 PointsYes. However, as Moe said above, I'd recommend taking 2x on the time to code your own mini-projects as you do in watching videos, though. That's why I'm doing so well. Show them some of the work you've done and ask if there are any skill-sets that you would need to begin working, as Colin said. I'd focus on front-end and working towards the back; every website has a front end but not a back end.
