HTML Responsive Images Art Direction with the Picture Element The Picture Element

Is anyone using the <picture> art direction approach in 2020?

This course was made in 2015. Pretty sure at the time it was considered experimental and lacked support from a handful of browsers. Now in 2020 (5 years later), has this been adopted as a standard in responsive web development or is it still a "use once in a blue moon" kind of deal? I'd love to hear from the pro's.

Hi Eduardo, this is the first time I've heard of <picture>! So thanks for introducing me. I am not familiar with it so I did some research and found this interesting thread on stackoverflow. Also I checked on caniuse.com and it looks like not all browsers support it.
