Might be stupid question but i do no get this :

func greet(person: String) -> String { let greeting = "Hello, " + person + "!" return greeting }

What does the -> String mean? why is this here

Hi Chris, the -> String after the function is signifying the functions return type. In this case the function described is returning greeting which is of the type String
