Treehouse Moderator 91,253 PointsIntel x86 HAXM Installer "Not Compatible with Windows"
I'm using the Device Nexus 5 API 23 when trying to build the project.
However when I attempt to run the project I get the following message and console output.
Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.
CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!
So the emulator won't load. When I then look at the Android SDK Manager for HAXM, the status is "not compatible with Windows". It seems others have had similar issues in the past.
Can anything be done to help? Can I carry on with the track without it if needs be? Thanks :)

There are bug reports filed on the SDK Manager about this and will hopefully be fixed soon.

Treehouse Moderator 91,253 PointsThanks for getting me going :)
It turns out the Intel Virtualizer wasn't switched on which seems to be why my Andriod installation wasn't clean. I managed to get onto BIOS though and sort it out.

Treehouse Moderator 91,253 PointsHi Carlos,
Have you been able to look for it in your computers' BIOS? Maybe you just need to find the setting and switch it on. :-)
