In this it says to call the new drive method and to pass it a 1. what does it mean I don't get it

in the second drive method It says that i should pass it at 1, but i d'ont get how i do that

GoKart.java
class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String color;
  private int barCount;
  private int lapsDriven;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    this.color = color;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return color;
  }
  public void charge() {
    barCount = MAX_BARS;
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return barCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return MAX_BARS == barCount;
  }

  public void drive(int maxLaps) {
    maxLaps += lapsDriven;
    lapsDriven -= barCount;
  }
  public void drive (){
    drive(maxLaps);
  }
}

In this task you should pass an int value to method and as a result sum it with your current lapsDriven and substract same value of barCount

your logic almost right but this is how it should look

public void drive(int lapsToDrive) { lapsDriven+=lapsToDrive; barCount-=lapsToDrive; }

try to understand your mistake and retry challenge

best of luck
