WordPress How to Make a Website with WordPress Customizing WordPress Themes How to Make Child Themes

@import

When you are copying the css file from the project downloads, I see when you open it up it already had @import already there. Is this automatic, how do this happen or do you have to input it manually?

When you are creating a child theme, you need to add the parents css into the child theme. You can do this by using the @import in the style.css file, and or enqueuing the styles in your functions.php file. the child theme styles.css you create does not come with the @import styles as you create the file. For the Treehouse projects it looks like the files already have that set up for you.

Thanks!!! Make sense. I appreciate your time.

Not a problem!
