CSS CSS Basics (2014) Basic Layout box-sizing and max-width

<img> is inline element, why can you set it's margin-bottom value ?

img { max-width: 100%; margin-bottom: 200px; }

as lessons before said, margins of top or bottom will not work for inline elements

If you look at the the information on img tags on W3c - img tag, it actually says that most broswers display the img as inline-block. This allows the margins to be changed.

Thanks Emma!
