Using the two variables in this script, create a new variable named totalWidth that multiplies the width by the numOfDivs variable. Because the width variable is a string, you'll need to use a JavaScript function to retrieve the number value.

It doesn't look like you've tried to answer yet. If you try but don't get it, the challenge checker may give you a hint that will help you solve it.

You'll start by creating a new variable (using the name they ask for), and assign it to the value you get by multiplying the other variables together. You already know you need to convert the value somehow, but if you're not sure how, try it without and see what the challenge says.
