2,220 PointsI'm trying to change the color of the header to purple.
I'm trying to change the color of the header to purple and did not know if I should do it in the HTML or CSS.
<!doctype html>
<html>
<head>
<link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet">
</head>
<body>
<h1>Welcome to My Web Page!</h1>
</body>
</html>
header{
color:purple;
}

41,120 PointsYou have the right idea. You are just using the wrong selector in your CSS (use h1 instead of header):
h1 {
color: purple;
}

Stuart Wright is right too.
