Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 13,483 PointsI'm stopping at this checkpoint. I will take Node.js Basics before moving on to templating.
I think this is a fantastic course, and it covers some super exciting topics, but I needed to supplement along the way.
Here is my approach:
- To understand the pseudocode/planning stage I took the HTTP Basics Course
- When I reached the home and user routing stage I watched this video about creating a route from the 4 hour long Express Basics Course.
- I've now stopped at this video and now will take the Node.js Basics Course to reinforce what I've learned before learning the basics of templating.
- I will then take Working with the Fetch API.
- Then I will return and complete this section on reading files and the rest of the course on accepting a POST body and redirection.
- I will then rebuild this project using Fetch API
- Then and only then will I move on to the Express Basics Course
Onwards and upwards! 🙏🏼
