This is what I wrote:
name = "Glenn" subject = "Treehouse loves {}" print(subject.format(name))
it works when I do it in the workspace.
name = "Glenn"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}"
print(subject.format(name))

23,733 PointsIt's because you are printing instead of assigning to the variable subject. Try this:
name = "Glenn"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)
