I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong on this question. My answer should be OK. have added the {} and the padding px

.social-links { padding = 15px margin = 10px }

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>List Example</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
  </head>
  <body>

    <a class= "social-links" href="#">Follow me on Twitter!</a>
    <a class= "social-links" href="#">Send me an Email!</a>

  </body>
</html>
styles.css
.social-links {
  padding = 15px
  margin = 10px
}

Hi Isabel,

You're doing well. There are just a few small things.

First, in the HTML file, where you are adding the classes, HTML doesn't like the space you have after the equal sign before the "social-links".
<a class= "social-links"... Should be <a class="social-links...

For the most part, whitespace doesn't matter in HTML or CSS. This is one of the few exceptions.

Second, in the CSS file, values are assigned to the rules with colons not equal signs. So, padding = 15px needs to be padding: 15px;.

Finally, you are missing the ending semicolons for each rule (see above).

Once you fix those up, it's all good!

Nice work! :) :dizzy:

It's supposed to be like this:

.social-links {
  padding: 15px;
  margin: 10px;
}

CSS works with a ":" after the category and a ";" at the end.
