I'm not sure what I am doing wrong

I'm pretty sure the top of my code is wrong but I'm not sure what to write to test if the value for variable a is greater than the value of variable b

var b = 20;
var c = 30;

var (answer= 10<20);
if (10>20) {
  alert('a is greater than b');
        } else {
        alert ('a is not greater than b');
}

Here, you don't need to write "answer" and stuff, just use the conditions and alert accordingly

var a = 10;
var b = 20;
var c = 30;

if(a>b){
  alert("a is greater than b");
} else{
  alert("a is not greater than b");
}
