Java Java Data Structures - Retired Getting There Type Casting

I'm having trouble trying to figure out what the question is looking for?

Am I supposed to be doing an if statement to see if the obj instanceof is equal to either the string or the com.example.blogpost?

Hey Carter! Yes, thats indeed what you have to do, make sure to cast the result as a String tho. So something like:

if (obj instanceof String) {
    return (String) obj;
}
