For the main footer challenge, add 'main-footer' to footer id in the HTML

    <footer id="main-footer">
      All rights reserved to the state of California.
    </footer>

Then target this ID in the CSS

#main-footer {
    margin-top: 40px;
}

What exactly are you asking? You have to give the footer the id of main-footer and select the id in the style sheet.
