I'd like you to now only print continents that begin with the letter "A".

Can't print out the continents starting with "A"

continents.py 
continents = [
    'Asia',
    'South America',
    'North America',
    'Africa',
    'Europe',
    'Antarctica',
    'Australia',
]
# Your code here
for continent in continents:
    print('* '+ continent)

if continent[0]== "A":
    print(continent)

Your code is very close to being right. You just need to move some things. The "only print A" is just an add on to your previous code, so you don't need that last print statement.

Your if statement is correct, moving that bit of code directly after your for loop will solve your problem. Now it will check and only print out the continents which has an A in the beginning. Code should be:

for continent in continents:
    if continent[0] == 'A':
        print("* " + continent)
