WordPress How to Make a Website with WordPress Installing WordPress The Famous 5-Minute WordPress Install

I would like to delete files from the 1 click install in order to practice a manual install, but unsure how to do this?

Is it necessary to do a manual install in order to follow along for the remainder of the lessons?

I don't think how you install should stop you from moving on.. whichever way you install, you get a working copy of a wordpress which is all that you need.

If you want to remove the wordpress (making sure there are no posts/content you would like to keep) than delete the main folder where you installed wordpress, i.e. one-click install usually asks you for a directory/url where it should install wordpress). don't forget to delete the database too (unless you want to re-use it for the manual install).
