<img src="image\wedding_1.jpg" alt= "image of a white wedding cake decorated with pink and blue
flowers and a pair of swans on top" class='cakes'/>
It seems like a lot, but to add an image to your page the browser needs to know exactly WHERE to find it. so, that is the src bit of code. src="image\wedding_1.jpg" is where this is located in the files.
If you are using the web, typically it will give you the location... you must still use src="the part you copied and pasted" so your code/browser knows where to go and retrieve the picture.
