I tried searching the python docs to find out how many times a .split can be used. Please link python docs to it.

Unable to search thru python docs to find my answer.

What he means is that you can optionally set a limit, by default there is no limit on the number of splits.

See the documentation page for details regarding the "maxsplit" argument.

At minute 3:00 of the lesson "splitting & joining" Kenneth says, and i quote "split also has the ability to do a certain number of splits, but I'm going to leave that to you to look up..."
