I tried copy/paste #fff092b0, but it does not work. The line is android:background="@android:color/#fff092b0"

Hi Riya

you just need to delete the @android:color/ and change it to android:background="#fff092b0".

Your welcome

The reason it was not working is that '@android: color/white' is a system color stored by android whereas the hexadecimal color you just need to provide as the hexadecimal string and Android will do the work converting into correct color.
